Using Flybus to Get to Reykjavik from the Airport

Purchase your tickets online in advance.
When you arrive at the airport, go through passport control and get your bags. As you exit the arrival hall you will see the Flybus counter.
Bring your voucher to the counter to get a colored ticket for your final stop, then proceed to the bus waiting outside. The counter staff will tell you if it has arrived.
The driver will load your suitcases onto the bus and you will be taken to the main bus terminal to change to the final bus. You will have a beautiful view of the landscape on the way so sit back and relax.
Upon arrival, you'll see Hallgrimskikja Cathedral from the terminal. There is a cute gift shop, bathrooms (pay for use), food, and some tourist information in the small terminal building to keep you busy. If it is cold outside, wait inside as it is very windy and the hotel bus takes a bit longer unless your timing is just right.
The bus will be identified but it is not really obvious so keep an eye out. Someone will collect the tickets and you will board the bus but will have to take your bags onto the bus with you. The driver will ask where you are going to make sure he stops at your hotel.
You do not need to tip the driver.

This is a good way to get to Reykjavik at a reasonable price but you may wait a bit. As of this writing, they did not have Uber but you can taxi or also choose a private transfer at a much higher cost.
